TRAILS
Norco’s trails are more than paths through the countryside—they’re a way to connect with nature, enjoy the freedom of horseback riding, and celebrate our unique rural lifestyle. From shaded tree-lined routes to wide-open vistas, our trails offer something for everyone—whether you’re on horseback, walking, or simply taking in the scenery.
The Norco Horsemen’s Association works to maintain and protect these trails so they remain safe, accessible, and enjoyable for all. Through volunteer efforts, community collaboration, and ongoing advocacy, we ensure that our trails continue to reflect the spirit of Horsetown USA.
Trails Committee
The Norco Horsemen’s Association Trail Committee meets on the first Thursday of every month at 6:30 PM at the 6th Street Deli. Some members arrive around 6:00 PM to grab a bite to eat before the meeting, and everyone is welcome to attend.
During our meetings, we discuss trail issues throughout the city, identify maintenance needs, and develop hands-on projects the committee can work on.
The Trail Committee is actively involved in trail maintenance throughout the month, helping preserve and improve Norco’s outstanding trail system. We also work to identify larger trail projects that may require city involvement, including developing an annual Top 10 list of trail priorities for the city to consider.
To better monitor trail conditions, the city is divided into zones, each with a volunteer Trail Boss. Often someone who lives nearby and can quickly identify and report issues.

We would love for you to join us at an upcoming meeting and be part of caring for Norco’s trails.
Trail System
Norco’s trail system is a cornerstone of the city’s rural identity, providing safe and scenic routes for horseback riding, walking, and outdoor enjoyment. These interconnected trails help preserve the Norco Way of Life while offering residents and visitors a unique way to experience Horsetown USA.
The Norco Horsemen’s Association supports the protection, maintenance, and responsible use of the trails to ensure they remain accessible and enjoyable for generations to come.
Trail Master plan
The Trail Master Plan serves as a long-term guide for the development, preservation, and improvement of Norco’s trail system. It outlines goals for connectivity, safety, and accessibility while protecting the rural character and equestrian traditions that define Horsetown USA.
The Norco Horsemen’s Association supports the Trail Master Plan by advocating for responsible trail planning, maintenance, and community involvement. Through collaboration with the City and local stakeholders, NHA works to ensure the trail system continues to meet the needs of riders, residents, and future generations.
