Our history

The Norco Horsemen’s Association (NHA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and promoting animal keeping, equestrian traditions, agricultural use, and large-lot living within the City of Norco.
Norco is unlike any other city. Rooted deeply in its rural heritage, it proudly carries the title
“Horsetown USA.” From horses and livestock to trails, arenas, and wide open spaces, Norco’s way of life reflects a commitment to preserving the values that make this community special. The Norco Horsemen’s Association exists to ensure those values are understood, protected, and passed on—especially to those new to our city.
Our mission is simple: to help keep Norco, Norco.
We do this by actively supporting and promoting the city’s rural identity, engaging with community members, and participating in events, education, and advocacy efforts that celebrate Norco’s agricultural and equestrian lifestyle.
NHA also works to keep city leadership informed, dedicated, and accountable when it comes to preserving the Norco Way of Life—ensuring that policies and decisions continue to support animal keeping, equestrian use, and the rural character that defines our city.
Through involvement, education, and community partnership, the Norco Horsemen’s Association proudly serves as a steward of Norco’s past, present, and future.
Officers & Board of Directors
The Norco Horsemen’s Association is proudly run entirely by volunteers who are deeply committed to preserving and promoting the Norco Way of Life.
Our organization is led by elected officers who serve one-year terms, along with a Board of Directors whose members serve two-year terms. To ensure continuity, experience, and fresh perspectives, approximately half of the Board is up for election each year.
Each of these individuals generously gives their time, energy, and expertise to help advance the mission of the Norco Horsemen’s Association—advocating for animal keeping, equestrian traditions, agricultural use, and the rural character that makes Norco unique.
We are grateful for their dedication and service.
