What a great day we had at our practice play day. There were 6 juniors and 9 adults that came out to the Leonard's house to practice some obstacles that Bob, Karen and myself had put together. I thought this would be great exposure for some of the horses and riders since we have a play day coming up in October. We had a lot of fun. It started out a little rocky when Kyle Boersma took a superman flying leap off of his mom's horse when he spooked. So Dillon (mom's horse) got a little one on one with mom and Kyle shook it off, rested a little bit and then got back up in the saddle of a more calmer horse, Spike. Thank you Joy and Emily Chase for letting both Garrett and Kyle ride Spike. It made their day. You know how much they love him. After getting riders switched around, we practiced the obstacles. It looked like every one enjoyed themselves and had a good time. Thankfully it wasn't as hot as it has been so it turned out to be a nice day.

I want to give a BIG THANK YOU to Bob and Karen Leonard for opening up their arena and allowing us to practice in it. Also, Bob, thanks for letting Garrett ride AppleJack. He's Garrett's second favorite horse.
