The plans for our Summer Potluck are firming up. The date is set for the 21st of June at the 4-H Area above Nellie Weaver Hall from 3:00 until 6:00 PM. Bring your favorite dish and enjoy the company of good friends!
We’ll be meeting for our next activities
meeting at a new location on the 28th of July.
That is at Saul’s Kitchen at 2822 Hamner Ave.
in Norco which is near Ace Hardware. The
meeting starts at 7:00 but feel free to come
early and order dinner. Your meal will
include a free drink and a desert made especially for us. We’ll see how this location works out for our meetings in the future.
The Summer Potluck was a great success! As hot as it was that day we were a little nervous but up there in the 4-H area was a nice breeze and under trees so we had a very nice time with friends and family.
Next up is our Del Mar trip which will be the 9th of August. This trip is a lot of fun each year with friends and those beautiful race horses. The cost to each is still only $45.00 which includes the bus trip as well as the entry fee to the races.
The seats for this trip are going on afirst come – first serve basis and will onlybe held when the payment is received so you’ll want to get your payments in to me as soon as possible. The last general meeting before the trip is coming up on the 17th of July so remember your checkbook!
Feel free to bring along your favorite “snacks and spirits” for the bus trip since someone else will be doing the driving! (This is an adults only outing.)
We’ll meet at 10:30 AM at the paved “Park ‘n Ride in the 3800 block of Old Hamner Road. (This is the lot behind the American Legion Post building.) We should be back at about 8:00 PM.
